As a Korean who grew up in Korea and later lived in LAs Koreatown, I have high standards for Korean food. Lil Pocha does not disappoint and is a mustvisit if you enjoy Korean food paired with drinks especially soju. The relaxed atmosphere and the quality of the food are exceptional, ensuring youll want to come back repeatedly. Here are my top recommendations First and foremost, Fried Spicy Pork The meat is impressively thick and chewy, offering a delightful texture. Second, Fried Chicken While not the typical Koreanstyle fried chicken, this Japanesestyle karaage is incredibly crispy and flavorful. My favorite dish, Kimchi Stew This dish is reminiscent of the kimchi stew from one of my favorite Korean restaurants back home. Highly recommend!!!!!! ”

“ New Review I went back in to try Lil Pocha after it changed Im not sure if ownership changed or just the menu, but I welcome a lot of the changes! Cheaper food and larger portions! We ordered the crispiest kimchi jeon Ive ever had, mozzarella sticks, and the rabbokki. They brought us complimentary rice cake and sausages tossed in a very sweet spicy sauce it was good! A lot of their new menu items are much cheaper food items, which I appreciate. It meant I could buy a second bottle of Makgeolli, which they had a decent selection of. While I will miss the flavor of the chicken feet and raw marinated crab, I couldnt afford to get it regularly when they had it. Now that they have cheaper menu items, I plan on visiting regularly with friends for after dinner drinks and comfort food. At the end of a long work day, Lil Pocha is a welcomed establishment to unwind and chow down. Old review of Imo Pocha The good The food was very tasty, the service was incredible, and the atmosphere was cozy and unique! I really loved the Gamjatang and the chicken feet the gamjatang was thick and spicy and the chicken feet were so soft they literally fell off the bone. The less good This place is expensive. I really, really love this place, but it is admittedly pricey for the portion sizes. That will definitely not stop me from going back, but I spent 100 before tax and tip on a single serving of gamjatang, 6 chicken feet, two bowls of rice, two marinated raw crabs and a single bottle of Makgeolli. This was split between two people and we probably would have ordered one more dish to try if the price wasnt so high. I could see the prices being fair if the portion sizes were a bit larger, but they werent, so I think its a bit pricey. I will definitely be going back, though admittedly less frequently than I would like. I would be a true regular if I could afford it but I cant justify 24 for 6 chicken feet. Even an order of French fries is almost 10! Once again, the portion sizes are not very large. Im not sure about the French fries, but 9 is a bit steep for me. Worth the price strictly my opinion Gamjatang Chicken feet at least once to try! I wish there were a couple of cheaper menu options, but I digress. Still fantastic food. ”

“ I love love this place and come with my friends on a semi regular basis. The staff is so friendly, and the food is delicious. Highly recommend the bossam, beef jeon, and the fried chicken gizzards. I also love the army stew has a solid spice kick. Im not usually a gizzard person but Lil Pocha has converted me. Best for a group of a 35 people. Get a couple of things off the menu and share. ”

The staff were friendly and cool, while the food was tasty and a little hot for my weak palette. Food is perfect for sharing. We didnt get drinks this visit but Id love to come back and have some soju. Side note the crane wallpaper is listed at 570 on Guccis website. Wonder if its real. ”
